Two of my instructors, Kiyoshi Stroud & Professor Cates, both used to refer to a concept they liked to call ‘Tiger by the Tail.” When one hears this very colorful metaphor, you can’t help to picture in your mind the vivid image of having hold of a fierce tiger by his tail as it turns to tear you to shreds.
